The Tutoring Center, Kansas City MO

This month we are excited to introduce one of our senior interns, Will Laycock.

Will is a top-level student at Liberty High School. He is a very accomplished classical piano player who typically practices 2-3 hours every day. As a member of Boy Scouts of America, Will has achieved Eagle Scout status. In college, Will plans to major in either piano performance or physics.

In his free time, Will enjoys reading, cooking, photography, and watching films by Wes Anderson. A few of his favorite books are 1984, A Lesson Before Dying, Letters from a Stoic, and The Jazz of Physics.

Will’s hidden talent is that he can solve a Rubik’s cube in under a minute. He has a second brother who is from Chile, loves National Parks, and his favorite food is Honey Bunches of Oats cereal.

When asked about why he likes tutoring, Will said, “I enjoy tutoring because it allows me to apply everything I have learned to help others understand something new.”

Welcome to the Center, Will!
