The Tutoring Center, Kansas City MO

We are pleased to showcase Kent Hill in this month’s Tutor Spotlight.

Kent graduated from the United States Air Force Academy where he received a degree in Experimental Psychology. He then went on to earn a Master’s Degree in Business & Procurement. In 2014, Kent retired from the Department of Veterans Affairs after  working in hospital administration for over 40 years.

Kent has been married to his wife, Nita, for 43 great years, and they have four sons, two daughters-in-law, four grandsons, and one granddaughter (who is the queen of the family!). Kent enjoys reading, fishing, woodworking, and beekeeping. He runs regularly and enjoys competing in half-marathons with his children. Kent is also an active member at his church, First Baptist, in Kearney.

Living in the country, Kent has had many dogs, cats, chickens, etc. over the years, but his favorite animals are dogs because they are good companions and forgiving. Kent enjoys tutoring because he really likes children and it gives him the opportunity to share some of what he has learned over the years.

We are glad to have you at the Center, Kent!
