The Tutoring Center, Kansas City MO

We are pleased to showcase Elizabeth (Liz) Potterf in this month’s Tutor Spotlight. Liz is one of our senior interns.

Currently a senior at Liberty North High School, Liz ranks at the top of her class, is captain of the Debate Team, and is a member of the executive board for the National Honor Society. Liz is also a member of Girl Scouts, Key Club, and volunteers through the Youth Volunteer Corps.

Dogs are Liz’s favorite animal because they are cuddly and great to spend time with. Liz’s favorite color is yellow because it is bright, happy, and can be seen in every season.

In her free time, Liz enjoys cooking, volunteering, crafting, and singing in the car. If she could have any superpower, Liz would choose teleportation so that she could be anywhere she wants at all times.

Liz enjoys tutoring because she has always loved working with children and likes the two-way interaction of teaching and learning. Her favorite part about The Tutoring Center is getting to know the many great personalities of all the students.

We are glad to have you at the center, Liz!
